My name is Michelle and I’ve been creating things for as long as I can remember. My adventures in woodworking and carpentry started when I was a young child – I grew up in a house that seemed to always be “Under Construction!”
When I was about 12 years old, my parents remodeled our tiny 3 bedroom house and put on an entire addition that doubled the size of the house. I gained a lot of hands-on experience in everything from putting up studs to drywalling and painting.
Most of the woodworking skills I’ve learned I of course have to thank my Dad for, who has taught me a lot of great things – the biggest one being how to overcome my fears of using power tools!
15 years ago I met my wonderful husband who also loves to build and make things. We’ve tackled a lot of DIY projects together at our house, from building shelves and furniture to even building a deck and moving walls.
My hope at Builderology is to inspire you to create something you enjoy making! Whether you’re brand new to woodworking and carpentry or are thinking about going pro I’m happy to share all of my tips and experience with you!
