Pirata One is a modern gothic display face with the feel of tattoo lettering. Its strokes are thick and even, so it is the easiest Old English style font to cut, and it stays readable in a two-letter monogram.
Blackletter capitals are used for single-initial Old English monograms on jackets, car windows, tumblers and tattoo-style designs, and occasionally for two letters.
